イチローズモルトは、2004年に創業者の肥土伊知郎（あくといちろう）氏が自身の名を冠にしたウイスキーブランド“イチローズモルト”を製造・販売するために株式会社ベンチャーウイスキーを立ち上げたことから始まります。
2004年に閉鎖された羽生蒸留所は伊知郎氏の祖父が創業した蒸留所で、その原酒は伊知郎氏に引き継がれました。
伊知郎氏によって秩父市内に設立された秩父蒸留所は、2008年に稼働開始いたしました。
クスダワインとは、秩父市出身の楠田 浩之氏が家族とともに移住したニュージーランドのマーティンボロで2001年に設立したワイナリーで、2002年に初リリースされました。リリース前から大きな話題となりましたが、リリース後はそのワインの評価とともに人気は更に上昇し国際線のファーストクラスのワインにも選ばれました。
こちらのイチローズモルト 秩父 クスダワインカスクは、秩父の縁で結ばれたお二人のコラボレーションボトルで、2017年に秩父地域の酒店で限定販売かつ1,270本のみ販売されました。
ニュージーランド産のピノノワールとシラーズというクスダワインを代表する品種の空き樽で熟成された秩父蒸留所原酒のイチローズモルト。即日完売したためご存じない方も多いのではないでしょうか。

Venture Whisky Co., Ltd. was established in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto, founder of Ichiro’s Malt, to manufacture and sell the whisky brand “Ichiro’s Malt” bearing his own name.
It starts with Hanyu Distillery, which closed in 2004, was founded by Mr. Ichiro’s grandfather, and the whisky was taken over by Mr. Ichiro.
Chichibu Distillery was established in Chichibu City by Mr. Ichiro and started operation in 2008.
Kusuda Wine is a winery established in 2001 in Martinborough, New Zealand, where Mr. Hiroyuki Kusuda from Chichibu City moved with his family, and was first released in 2002. It became a big topic before its release, but after its release, it became even more popular with the evaluation of the wine, and was selected as a first-class wine for international flights.
This Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu Kusuda Wine Cask is a collaboration bottle of the two who are tied together by Chichibu.
