この自然豊かな国で、フランス人であるエリック・ピラス氏が、25年以上プレミアムシガー業界で培ってきた人脈や経験を活かして作り始めた葉巻が「コンフィデンシャル」です。
彼は香港を中心に世界中で活動し2015年に「Cigraal」社を設立。葉巻のプロモーションやマーケティング、シガーラウンジの運営など幅広くシガー業界で活躍されています。
当初はプライベートブランドとして家族や友人の為に製造していましたが、品質とコスパの良さが葉巻愛好家たちに広く知れ渡り、そこから本格的に製品化し一般の市場にも流通するようになりました。
「コンフィデンシャル(Confidenciaal)」と言う名前の由来は、英語で秘密という意味のconfidentialとフランス語で聖杯のGraalといわれる2つの言葉を掛け合わせて名付けられました。

Honduras is located in north-central Central America, about a 15-hour flight from Japan. It borders Nicaragua and Guatemala, and to the north lies the Caribbean Sea. In this naturally rich country, Eric Piras, a Frenchman, began creating ” CONFIDENCIAAL ” cigars, leveraging the network and experience he cultivated over 25 years in the premium cigar industry.
He operates globally, primarily in Hong Kong, and founded “Cigraal” in 2015. He is widely active in the cigar industry, involved in cigar promotion and marketing, as well as operating cigar lounges.
Initially, he produced them as a private brand for family and friends, but their quality and excellent value became widely known among cigar enthusiasts, leading to full-scale production and distribution to the general market.
The name ” CONFIDENCIAAL ” is a combination of the English word “confidential” and the French word “Graal,” meaning the Holy Grail.
