ヴィトラ名 コロナ
トリニダッドという名はキューバの中央部にあるトリニダ（町の建設当時の正式名称はサンティシマ・トリニダ）という町の名が冠となっています。
この町は“トリニダとインヘニオス渓谷”として、1988年にユネスコの世界遺産に登録されました。トリニダの街自体が一つの博物館だと語られるほどの美しい街。一度は訪れてみたいものです。
さてトリニダッドは、それまで国賓などへの贈答用として政府専用シガーとなっていたコイーバが一般市場に投入された後継品として政府専用シガーとなったのが1980年代以降。
その後1997年に、一般市場に正式にリリースとなりました。
その7年後の2004年にコロニアレスはレギュラー商品として初リリースとなり、今日にいたります。
新たな商品のリリースは多いものの数年後に終売となっているアイテムも多いこのブランドにおいてコロニアレスは長きに渡り愛されています。
