ドイツ人銀行家であるヘルマン・アップマン氏により1844年に立ち上げられた『H.アップマン』ブランドは、キューバシガー最古のブランドの一つとして挙げられます。
ジョン・F・ケネディ元米国合衆国大統領も愛したとされており、当時キューバとの禁輸措置の書類にサインする直前にあらかじめアップマンのシガーを大量に買い集めたという逸話があります。
その品質の高さはドレスボックスの蓋裏に刻まれた数多くの金メダルが物語っています。
コノスールAは、2013年にラ・カーサ・デル・ハバノ限定で登場したもので、ダブルリングと見紛うほど大きく特徴的な専用のリングが巻かれています。
コノスールとは、『美食家』や『エキスパート』などといった意味を持っており、その名に恥じないまさにA級の味わいを魅せてくれます。

The H. Upmann brand was launched in 1844 by German banker Hermann Upmann and is considered one of the oldest Cuban cigar brands.
It is said that former United States President John F. Kennedy was also a fan of Upmann cigars, and there is an anecdote that he bought a large quantity of Upmann cigars in advance just before signing the paperwork for the trade embargo with Cuba.
Its high quality is evidenced by the numerous gold medals engraved on the back of the dress box lid.
Conosur A was introduced exclusively at La Casa del Habano in 2013, and is wrapped around a special ring that is so large and distinctive that it can be mistaken for a double ring.
Conoseur means “gourmet” or “expert”and the name lives up to its A-class taste.
The recommended smoking time is about 70 minutes, and it is a slightly larger size called Robusto Extra.
