知名度はそれほど高くないですが、ラモンアロネスもかなり古くから存在する歴史のあるブランドの一つです。
1920年頃には英国などで非常に人気のブランドでしたが、キューバ革命による国有化の流れでレギュラーヴィトラの数が激減いたしました。しかしながら、リージョナルエディションやエディションリミテッドなどの限定リリースを含めると、これまでにキューバシガーの中でもトップクラスの種類のリリースを誇る人気ブランド。
国有化されてからはパルタガス工場で巻かれるようになったことも相まって、度々パルタガスと比較されることもります。
また、シガーをブランドのエンブレムが刻まれた木箱に梱包した最初のブランドであり、そのスタイルは今やすべてのキューバンシガーに浸透しており、まさにパイオニアのような存在でもあります。
『スペシャリーセレクテッド』は、ロブストサイズのフルボディな味わいを持つラモンアロネスのフラッグシップと言えるヴィトラです。パルタガスのセリーD No.4と同じサイズですが、パルタガスほどのスパイシーさは無く、花を想わせるフローラルなニュアンスを持っています。

Vitola name Robusto
Although not as well known, Ramon Allones is one of the brands with a long history.
Around 1920, it was a very popular brand in Britain and other countries, but the number of regular Vitolas decreased dramatically due to the nationalization of Cuba due to the revolution. However, including limited releases such as regional editions and limited editions, this popular brand boasts one of the top-class releases of Cuban cigars to date.
Since it was nationalized, it has been rolled at the Partagas factory, so it is often compared to Partagas.
They were also the first brand to package their cigars in wooden boxes engraved with the brand’s emblem, a style that now pervades all Cuban cigars, making them something of a pioneer.
“Specially Selected” is Ramon Allones’s flagship Vitola with a robusto-sized, full-bodied flavor.
It is the same size as Partagas’ Serie D No.4, but it is not as spicy as Partagas and has a floral nuance reminiscent of flowers.
