ヴィトラ名 ピラミデ
アンデス5ヶ国を独立に導いた革命家のシモン・ボリバルに由来した名前を持つ『BOLIVAR』は、1901年から1902年頃に、ホセ・フェルナンデス・ロシャ氏によって誕生したブランドです。
1954年、ロシャ氏の死後にブランドがシフエンテス家の手に渡り、現在ではパルタガス工場で作られています。
土のような力強いニュアンスを持ちつつもココアのような甘みが時々顔を覗かせるボリバーの味わいは、比較的マイナーなブランドながらも根強い人気を誇っています。
ベリコソスフィノスは、ヘッドが尖った特徴的な形のトルペドと呼ばれるシェイプ。カットの位置でドローや喫味を調整できるのでこの形を好む愛好家も多いです。

BOLIVAR, named after Simon Bolivar, the revolutionary who led the five Andean countries to independence, was founded by Jose Fernandez Rocha around 1901-1902.
After Rocha’s death in 1954, the brand was transferred to the Cifuentes family, and is now made at the Partagas factory.
Bolivar’s taste, which has a strong earthy nuance but also a cocoa-like sweetness that sometimes peeks out, is a relatively minor brand but has a strong popularity.
Belicosos Finos has a distinctive shape called a torpedo, with a pointed head. Many enthusiasts prefer this shape because the draw and taste can be adjusted by the position of the cut.
